ML3 Nightly testing

Indeed Composer never worked in ML3.

Shame on me, I should have tried to duplicate before posting here.
Yes I am using tkgafs mode. (As an excuse I can say that in the early phases of ML3 testing I had seen similar behaviour with playlists and generating new playlists. So I guessed this was a remainder of those problems.)

I will try later to see if it reproduces and under what conditions.

I had the same problem. And I finally found how to reproduce it at least partially. This is with the latest nightly.

From main screen, on (all) hit Ctrl-red, then pick another artist from the list and press either Ctrl-red or Ctrl-yellow TWICE (or more often). Then, the tracks are added to the queue twice (or more often), however the second and subsequent listing won't play. Then, add more tracks. The playlist and the played track won't match anymore. Hope this is clear enough.

(2) Time indicator on NMT:

• It doesn't quite follow the actual time the track is playing (inremental updates enabled)
  
• It's doesn't stop on pause.
  

(3) And yes, I could live without icon view if this makes the code a bit lighter. In fact, I'd prefer it without this kind of additional clutter. But that may be my personal view of things only.

Thanks newyankee, I can duplicate your scenario, I will see what I can do.

2 - Sub's PluginHelper doesn't report the playing time for the NMT or MVP so what you are seeing is an elapsed time counter. I did put in a bit of a kludge to handle a pause last night, it's better than what you have but really sub would need to provide the time.

3. I likely will not take it out but I won't improve it either, until I can make sense of it.

Here is a big update with some new features and skin changes

- Queue Next adds a song after the current song (Ctrl-K Record Angle)
- Pop Up Details by selecting a title. (using MixMan's Music skin detail screen)
- Composer info now displayed or available as @composer

I fixed the problem newyankee reported. There was a mismatch on logic in adding the same files to the display list and the audio playback queue. I made it so you can't queue the same track more than once. I can change this if you want to queue the same track multiple times.

Hans that would be the "Play Ad Nauseum" function, I will save that wishlist for now.

Anyway I am not expected major changes from here on, so these updates are probably going to stop. Now I really need feedback from everyone.

For the person that downloaded the nightly earlier I made an update to enable the buttons and album art on the details popup if you want to get it again.

Changes

- ML3 was sorting album tracks by name by default. Now it sorts by the configured default
- Track sort can be changed with a menu Home / Menu key (not enabled when all tracks by one artist)
- Esc will kill popup menu's
- Some changes on the file description popup.
- Some minor UI tweaks

Edit: May I suggest to make the default font for the values of Artist/Album/Title/Composer in playlists.xml the same as at the beginning of the line. I do not like the yellow. (I cured it with replacing GeneralTextHeaderStyle with GeneralTextStyle)

Thanks Martin. This is really great. It is not only a re-implementation of ML2 for PVRX2, but has also nice new functions. For me it is good enough to replace ML2.7.

I think it is now really fit for testing/usage by a wider audience.

Thanks Pieter the only way this will get better is for people to use it full time, I am glad you have made this decision. The @Composer isn't consistent the new details screen from MixMan uses @composer but I will fix that to make it easier for those who don't use use it.

Also your issues page missed that "Sort Name" is now working in 20990
