I'll be taking a trip to Sacramento in the near future and I was thinking of staying at Staybridge Suites on 140 Promenade Circle. Normally I don't care where I stay or what the area is like but my wife will be with me on this trip so I'm a little more cautious. If anyone is familiar with the area, is it "wife friendly" or is there somewhere else that you would recommend?

That's how I picked the hotel that I did but it's not always a substitute for someone who knows the area Wink

@Graham: I would love o stay there but my wife got seasick while snorkelling off the shore on our honeymoon so I don't know how well that would work. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I would be astonished if this boat moved in anything less than a hurricane ... it's a big boat on a not very big river. When I was there, it was as solid as dry land.

P.S. The Sacremento hurricane season ended two million years ago.
