If the MVP goes into the screen saver and you are out of ML3 the plugin isn't active so I have no way of resetting the start time. On the PC GBPVR returns the actual time but on the MVP/NMT it is an approx. time.

Based on the recent feedback I've added a few new features.

- Ctrl-Y/Yellow when Playing music in the Playing view (time, large art, etc) will queue the rest of the songs from the playing album (not the selected album) to the end of the list.

- All playlists in the configured directory for storing playlists <MLPlaylistDir></MLPlaylistDir> will be loaded even if the folder is not configured in the ML3 database

- This folder can now be selected via GB-PVR's Config.exe (code from ML2)

- Ctrl-P/Play would not work on playlists.

- norandom.txt worked with the Random Album option, but it could end repeat play.

Excellent queueing album from random track works really well

Another hopefully small request

If I am moving around the playlist with arrow keys on remote and I delete a track from the playlist

when you redraw the playlist could the screen be left in the position you were when the track was deleted rather than being returned to the currently playing track

There is another time this happens but I cant remember where it is !!

Thanks again

hmm, this last one turned out to be a mess on my machine. Random album doesn't work any more. I tested under blue skin. I have 6 views defined the last two genre/album, and genre/artist give a blank screen with blue skin, but do show in CS.

I reverted to previous build 19700. Everything works fine now

Ok let's try that again with a fix for Pieter and some other things too.

- Random Album was broken in the last nightly
- Restore selected position in list when deleting tracks from running playlist
- Improved logic on saving "Last Played.m3u" when playlist ends normally
- MLUpdateDir must be initialized before FileSystemWatcher

@Pieter I can't duplicate the genre problem at. Could you try it again with this version and upload your logs with the problem.

I havent ventured into the m3u stuff yet.. but could this be a use for ML3 ?

-Cue a bunch of albums/tracks/etc from the library
-Edit the playlist by deleting/adding tracks
-Bump tracks up or down in the list for play order (I dont think this exists)
-Once you have your 'music project' all edited and sorted then
-export/save the playlist as m3u
-use external tools for moving the tracks to an mp3 player or burn to cd etc.

I think this is doable other than the manual sorting ?
Would you have to create the m3u as a skeleton first ?
(sorry, like I said, I havent much experience with the m3u stuff.. this is just a thought that popped in with my first morning coffee here.)

As you said, all of this is available except for the sorting. Every time you play anything in ML3 your last list will be saved as Last Played.m3u. ML3 uses the simple form, a list of fully qualified filenames.

Does the update event still get called when updating (full update) inside gbpvr? I still see @updatemessage whenever doing an update.

If I can get pvrx2 working in a vm, then I could look at fixing it myself...

1)Random album functions again as expected.
2)With blue skin I still get completely blank screens while selecting genre/artist and genre/album. Community skin displays those settings.
Logs attached.
