so if new homepage for Wiki was re-done with a bit less about Wiki? .......

Wordage is nicked from last post I saw from Hairy re: new webpage and is not obviously fixed wordage wise.

There's still a little blurb about Wiki. But there is more about GB-PVR.

Intention would be to do the Wiki stuff on the 'Read me first'?

It is not pretty and didn't do pix yet.

Unzip perhaps and view? homepage.htm should give it as it is currently, homepage.htm1 should give new home wordage.

Yup absolutely.

Any views on images for this page? Current has a couple of Blue images. New Webpage will have images. Needed on Wiki homepage or no need?

I think a s/.shot plus a couple of simple but sylish schematics would do it. You know, this is where GBPVR fits into the system, kind of thing.

Thanks liteswap good info. Unfortunately I'm not a graphics person just words for me. So will stick with the words unless Hairy can do some good graphics!? Thing is GBPVR fits in so many ways to different systems would 2 x stylish graphics do it? That could be a very complicated layout and only perhaps serve to confuse users? I did a cr*p drawing of GBPVR with possible Clients etc and it is so maleable/configurable I don't think this would be good for homepage of Wiki....

Have been very wary in changing the Wiki homepage even though it can be undone but with no adverse comments will give it a go on new thread......

I take your point and I agree there's too many permutations to display, but I don't think we'd need to describe every possible one. Just the basic PVR/GBPVR with TV, then maybe a more complex client/server setup with an NMT/PCH to show possibilities. People can then fill in the blanks to suit their circs. What do you think?
