the Small recording Status icon on taskbar

right now it is constantly green. Is there an option so it turns red when it is recording? i dont like to right click on it everytime i want to check if it is doing something. Thanks!

haha sorry i must have been color blinded. it does change color from grey to green. plz ignore this post.
