Sometimes the comskip markings are off and I want to watch a show without it skipping. My wish is to have a function where i can turn off comskip skipping when the default is to skip automatically.
If you want to know why nPVR is the bomb, ask my wife!

From memory you can press 999 during playback to disable auto skipping.

Sub is correct, pressing 999 on the remote will toggle auto skipping off and on.

do you have to hit enter after 999? I always forget.

I think the timeline bar changes colour (dark green to grey/black?) on the areas where commercials are marked when it's in no comskip mode.

I'm not sure if this has ever been requested, but I think it should return to Auto-comskip upon exiting playback. If I really have two recordings in a row where I want to disable comskip, I'd prefer to just do 999 again rather than have to remember to turn it back on every time. If I turn it off then forget, I'm greated later with cries of "Daddy, we see commercials!!!".
