It looks like there is only one TechnoTrend card there, and it looks like a C-1501

There is a C1501 also, could it be that this prevents the usb-device from showing up in Filtercheck.log? Anything else I can try?

There is two devices listed, one Technotrend, on Cinergy. Did you maybe mean the Cinergy one?

Sorry no, there is also a Cinergy C PCI HD capture device (which works fine), the one I just got is a Technotrend TT-Connect C1200 DVB-C USB box from here: http://www.dvbshop.net/product_info.php/...47f013up8m
I haven't tried to use it with the native software as it has no choice for symbolrate 6950 (have to modify some .ini-file somewhere so I didn't bother since I don't intend to use the native SW). "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy"

Looking at that filtercheck.log, it looks like the drivers for this device arent installed. (or it doesnt have BDA drivers)
2010-02-10, 08:31 PM
Given it says USB 1.1, is it an old device? If so, it may not have BDA drivers.

I guess it's kind'a old since it does not support HD, but I bought it 'cause 80% of what I record is SD anyway... No BDA-drivers? Hmmm, that's a problem. I downloaded the latest drivers and installed, the web-page said something about the driver also can be used with Technisat SkyStar USB Plus. They call it a WDM driver. Is there any hope Sub?

Unfortunately if there is no BDA drivers, then there is zero chance. Sorry.
"WDM driver" in this case is code for "we came up with our scheme, not following any published standards, and it uses our own Technotrend private proprietary APIs"

Good translation . I'll look around for any compatible drivers.
