Help - DVB-S in the bush, Hawkes Bay

Been trying to get my new HVR-4000 (did I make the right choice?) up and running. Scanning shows good signal strength and quality but I get the ugly no channels found :confused:.

Code: FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: GB-PVR PSI Parsertry running reregisterfilters.bat from the gbpvr folder. The psi parser find the channels in the data stream I think.

I tried that. I get an error part way through - LoadLibrary("PsiParser.asx")failed - The proceedure could not be found.

Rescan still says no channels found. Is PsiParser.asx missing maybe? Is it maybe because I'm running Windows 2000?

I think I remember something had to be loaded for win2k,

Usually if it wont register, its a case of not having installed the vcredist.

Bugger. Got all excited about having tv when I got home tonight. Uninstaller gbpvr. Uninstalled (both versions of) microsoft redistributable c++. Installed the credist, then while reinstalling gbpvr I got:
Error 1904: Module c:\programfiles\devnz\gbpvr\psiparse.ax failed to register HRESULT-2147024769. Contact your support person"

OK. So I uninstall (again) both the redistro and gbpvr, reboot, install them both again and sure enough near the end of the gbpvr install the psiparser error message shows up ... I'm starting to lose hope here...
