Put together new Computer. OS Win7 gbpvr V1.4.7.

I was trying to get audio to work and not having much success when I did something that seems to be causing a manual record of one channel to automatically start. I cannot seem to get it to stop. I am not even sure what to search the forum for at this point.

Now when I start PVRX2 it crashes. Win7 is REAL nice about telling me that it is trying to resolve the problem just before it tells me to exit program.

Related issues - Recordings are display black w/o sound in PVRX2, however they appear to be fine when played elsewhere.

Logs are attached.

How do you even get to your recordings when pvrx2 crashes when opened?
What decoders are you using?
What plugins are you using?

Sorry, I will try to be more concise.

If I open the TV Guide and click to watch a program listing it starts a recording (always the 1st channel in the guide) and crashes. I see that the recording is started because the Icon in the tray turns green. This is a new problem and I do not know how to stop it. I did something (assuming with turning on the live TV plugin) that I cannot undo.

I can start PVRX2 and go to the recordings and try to view a sample recording - these are a black screen w/o sound. I can see the progress bar moving so I assume that something is playing. I can do anything except go to the TV Guide.

I am trying to find decoders to work for sound. I have not yet installed AC3 Filter, but that was what I was about to try when this recording thing started. Current set up is Cyberlink Audio Decoder (PDVD8) for almost everything.





The only plugins that I have are TV Guide, Recordings, Settings, and System

Try using Cyberlink for both h264 and mpeg2 video and Nvidia or Intervideo for audio(mpeg and ac3).

VMR9 for renderer.
