That is unfortunate. It would be nice to archive these release lists somewhere for people like me that only look at them every other release. It does not look like you are hurting for space to archive this right in the announcements thread. GB works so well I dont need to upgrade all the time. Thanks for thinking about it.

All the release announcements are still there, so you just need to look at the first post of each one to see what was added in each release. If you're not seeing them, then it'll just be because your forum filter is set to only show the last month, set it to 'from the beginning' and you'll see them all.

Just to say - I've been HUGELY remiss in not installing this version for the last few months but finally found a free minute (for me and the HTPC) and installed it - It really is a MASSIVE improvement in stability for H263 playback. It seems to react far better to minor reception issues - I used to often have to do a small skip forward and back to get the audio in sync again after a glitch - I seemed to rarely be doing that last night. I so far seem to have no tearing at all which i used to get often (haven't checked CPU utilisation yet but everything seems to be playing much smoother).

I should have moved sooner considering the lack of patches/information in the survival guide indicated this was a very stable major build! Great work Sub!!!!!

I'm getting an, "Installation ended prematurely because of an error." message when I try to install this thing. I'm not doing an upgrade; I'm trying to install it for the first time.

Please give some guidance. Thanks.

Check you have all the pre-requisites from in the first post (.NET, VC runtimes etc). If you have, then post on the support forum with more details including hardware and OS (see support sticky).

I don't think it is well enough stated in the announcement thread that .NET needs to be installed. ??

Hi

I'am a Danish newbie here, and have setup GB-PRV according to setup guide with DVB-S tuner Hauppauge HVR-4000 on a Windows 7 64 bit home ed.
And in the Config - Capture Source - Record source - MAP digital Ch....., I have picture in the preveiw window on FTA Channals.
When i start PVRX2 i havent any EPG or live TV and picture, mucis etc. folders are NOT what set it to be in config, it is like PVRX2 dosen't use the setting from config?

I hope someone can help me to see what fundamentel thing i've missed.

Thanks in advance.

Should really be posted in the support thread, but I think Windows 7 protection often gets in the way - try this ??
