Dvb-t2

I see on the Hauppage forums that they say they will have a DVB-T2 USB PVR stick out "before the world cup".
I know it's early days, but will GBPVR support it?
In my area they have been broadcastiing DVB-T2 BBC & ITV HD since last December. I can already view them in HD through my DVB-S tuners, but when Channels 4 & 5 join in later this year would be great to add a DVB-T2 tuner to GBPVR...

I'll certainly try to have support for it as soon as the sample devices are available from Hauppauge.

There is a good chance the DVB-T2 devices would already work. From an application point of view they may just look and behave exactly like DVB-T devices (but behind the scenes can lock these slightly different signals).

Excellent - will have to wait and see how much they are. The only set top box available so far is a Humax costing Â£170+ and it is not a recorder, just a single-tuner Freeview box!

If you need a tester (that can actually receive DVB-T2) for GBPVR running with one of these sample devices , I will be happy to volunteer (after 7 April when DVB-T2 starts around here) especially if I get to keep the sample !!! Big Grin

Unfortunately I think it'll still be a few months before any PC DVB-T2 tuners are available.
