I don't know if Javawiz have begun or even have the time to build a new version of Moviewiz for NPVR (he has been very busy the last year)...
If not, I would like to suggest a new plugin (or default menu) that supports mymovies.xml.
There are a lot of tools that uses and/or creates this file. And hopefully it is easier to build a tool that use the info in this file rather than create a new db for this.
This way a external software can handle the gathering of info, it can even supply the db. mymovies.dk for instance have a db any developer can access.
I know, it can be troublesome to be depending on a third party as well as the license needs to be investigated. But I think the advantages is greater.
Over the years my movie library have grown and are now scattered over a couple of discs and computers.
The Moviewiz have helped me sorting and finding them (great work Wiz!). But I fear for the future of Moviewiz and would really like to see it's match in Npvr too.
