Can a plugin identify which MVP is connected?

I'm curious, if you've got a setup with multiple MVP's in the house, can a plugin detect/identify which is connected? I think the only identifier would be either the MAC or the IP, which suffices. Can a plugin get that information?

sub said that it could get the MAC address using the PluginHelper.GetClientIdentifier() call.
I have not tried it yet. Let me know how it works.

That works. It returns MVP followed by the MAC address.
