Hi there,

I've just bought this card today. I have installed it, and it is working flawlessly with the AverTV software that came with the card.

In GB-PVR, I have full EPG and perfect sound - but only a BLACK SCREEN.

I have tried changing the renderer etc, to no avail.

P.S. This card is not in the supported card list in GB-PVR, but the program automatically detected my card as another AverTV card with very similar spec....

Little help?

Ok, got the thing going, using all the ffdshow codecs.

Got full picture and sound, but the picture is jerky on some TV channels.

Is there a lower performance option so I can lose the lag?

What's your system specs? What do you mean by jerky? Try recording and viewing the file on another PC to see if it's the recording or the playback.

Playback problems are usually due to codec choice or configuration. Having said that, if it's only some channels could it be reception problems?

Are you using DVB-T? If so, the New Zealand system uses H.264, and it can be hard to find decoders that work well for this. Most people here are using either the Windows 7 Microsoft decoder, or the ArcSoft H.264 decoder or the Cyberlink H.264 decoder.

Playback of this type of video can also be pretty hard on machines, so you either need a video card that does hardware H.264 acceleration (like nvidia 8500/8600 or higher), or a reasonably good CPU.

Hello,
I also have that card (that appears installed as "AverMedia M135 PCI TV Tuner") but I cannot found any channel. What am I doing wrong?
With the software of Avermedia (AverTV 6) it works ok and I can see all my channels. But with GB-PVR (or MediaPortal) I can found nothing.

I have used and followed what appears in this web about the program GraphEdit, and about how to Add Capture Card.
When I launch the config and I add a recording source it recognizes my added card as detected in the machine, although doesn't offer my country (Spain), so I select "All Region" and "All Channels". When then I try the Digital Channel Mapping it seems to initialize the card and begin to scan but all the time strength= 0 and quality=0 and finally: no channels found.
(If I try to select an incorrect card the initialization faults and so I think the previous initialization is ok)

I have Windows XP Pro, updated. I have also updated the driver of the card with the one named "Drv 3.6.0.15 SWEncoders 3.0.1.6
GamingPlugin_2.0.8.0" in http://www.avermedia.com/AVerTV/Support/...b=APDriver

It have been installed ok, but I have XP and the driver is for "OS =WinMCE2005", so I am not sure if that is a wrong driver or even if there is really a BDA Driver for that card.

Please, can you help me? I have spend so much time and I'm really lost
Thanks
