I notice there are season and episode fields in the epg table (that on some records contains data that doesn't look right). Are these reserved or can we modify them?

If we can modify them could NPVR be changed to use these in the filename as name_S##E##.ts ?

Finally are you playing to bring the genre table into npvr?

It'll populate these from a couple of the more popular xmltv formats that specify these. Its only very lightly tested though, so may not be 100% correct at this stage.

Dont put info other than season/episode into these fields.

I wont show this info in the application at this stage - its just not common enough, but I have intended to provide an option in the future to record to a filename like you mention above.

No, not at this stage. (for a variety of reasons)

That works for me

Ok, I'm still updating gbpvr.db3 and npvr.db3 in my xmltv import script, I'll see if I can attach to it to do what I want

Does that mean there won't be any support for colour coding of programmes in the guide?

I can live with "not at this stage". If you'd said "never", I'd be hitting the bottle Big Grin

Is there a status for the scheduled_recording table that would effectively blacklist an upcoming recording? If not can a set status 2 for future recordings with my own "failure reason"?

The contents of the scheduled recording table is effectively deleted and recreated each time the epg is updated (ro accomodate schedule changes etc), so any status you set would be lost on the recordings.

Ok thanks, I have some status 2 that go back a month, that's why I thought it might work.

Sorry - I meant for upcoming recordings. Completed recordings are left in the database.
