ive added the random intro option and another stacking mode called "Random", which surprising enough plays all the videos in the current directory (not sub directories) in a random order (so it doesnt matter which file you are on when you hit play, chances are it wont play that one first but a random one). oh and btw all the stacking modes work for .link files aswell.

im going over what needs to be done for playlists now, ill post details on this once its mostly sorted out, and you can comment, suggest something etc then (the playlists will be saved into the database not files themselves, and you wont be able to loop a playlist (its just the way sub added videoqueues, once they have been played they are removed from the queue)).

ive added video playlists (well mostly), but am stuck on how should i do this for pin protect files. anybody have any ideas?

my options so far are
1) Pin to add (no pin to play, ie once added its added anyone can play the playlist)
2) Pin to add, and pin protect the playlist (with same pin, then if another file is added with a different pin, you must input that pin for that file to add it, but the first pin still will allow you to play the playlist, ie that file aswell)
3) dont allow adding of pin protect items to playlists
4) just add em

3) is my favourite option, just because i dont have to do anything Tongue

functionality for video playlists are like so
- you add a file to the playlist (if you havent selected a playlist a new one is automatically created) with the "red" button (it no does "best effort" lookup)
- you can move a file up/down the playlist with yellow/blue
- you can delete a video with "red" from the playlist
- you can delete a playlist with "red" (message box asking "are you sure...")
- the are saved in the database
- automatically saved when you exit it (they are like folders on a virtual root, so clicking on to the parent, takes you back to the playlists lists(ie all the playlists in the db) and saves the current one)

stuff i havent done yet, but doing
- random (will randomize the play order, but keep the playlist in the correct order)
- renamed playlist (via the onscreenkeyboard)

i would really like a few people to test this, but they need the prerelease of gbpvr 0.92x, so if you are using the prerelease please pm so i can send you this update.

just want to let anyone who cares know that ive got pretty much everything working (with no crashing) for the next version, over a dozen new features (including playlists, yay! Smile), many bug fixes and a few tweaks. so once sub releases the next version of gbpvr ill release the next version of my vids, and a complete list of updates.

so there wont be any more prerelease versions released.
