I have been using GB-PVR to great success for such a long time now that I rarely get into the forums these days, but I did and found out that a new version was about to be ready. Great news indeed!

But I cannot fins a list of what is new and noteworthy anywhere. I guess Sub has deleted that info as it might have been obsolete during the beta releases. But I am still interested in the list to see if I should upgrade now, or wait for a stable release.

If GB-PVR is working fine for you you'll probably want to hold off for another release or two, maybe until it's out of beta. NPVR is great and wonderful, and already better than GB-PVR in many ways, but there are still some really annoying bugs and feature gaps.

For the big list of changes between GB-PVR and NPVR, you'll want to look at the announcement thread for 1.5.19 in the link provided by Skids.

As Skids pointed out, take a look at http://forums.gbpvr.com//forumdispla...-Announcements. The first post of each 1.5.x release details the changes in each release.

Ok, thanks. I was looking in that thread, but somehow missed to look into the right post.

Some things in there are great news, such as improved multidec support.
I will sure look into that. I am alittle bit worried about the time seek issues in NMT that Martin has reported about though. Maybe these are sorted now?

Also, I am a heavy user of the client/server support in PVRX2 and although it has its quirks we use it extensively. I would be very interested in supporting development of the client in any way I can. Btw, we use both a PC client and NMT dito in two separate rooms. Both these solutions must work in the future and I am here to assist if anybody needs my help!

The time seek on recordings has not changed, but there is no seek on live tv. I expect that sub and I will be able to use the new timing data to make seeks much more accurate.

Ok, will be waiting patiently for any update on this. As soon as this (fairly important IMHO) fix is in place and things does stabilize I will jump on the NPVR/NMT bandwagon.
