no improvement to my situation, thanks for the try though. The recording that started at 18:30 killed LiveTV, and was supposed to end at 19:00 but is still running. I restarted Live TV at 18:44, I can see the new logging from the patch.

I hope the patched helped Martin's situation with analog...

Yeah, I suspect this is something else. Thanks for checking though.

Partly. It fixed 4 similar and repeatable use cases but there are still issues. I now have problems when NextPVR hangs when the graph stops, and it is not restricted to analog.

sub, any progress on this issue as logged in post 41 (and first reported in post 14)? I wouldn't bug you for anything less than an every-day headache, which this is. The problem is not so much the part where LiveTV dies when a recording starts, that's mere inconvenience. But the recording that starts in that situation then runs on forever, and I have to reboot the machine to stop it. Presumably fixing the first part would resolve the second.

I just took a look now. I havnt really tested it, but give this patch a go. Hopefully it'll address that specific scenario around moving a recording to an alternative tuner when live tv is in use.

And a quick followup, as expected the recording that started at 2:00pm stopped on time at 2:30pm.

This bug seems completely squashed.

After a fresh windows 7 X86 Ultimate install i'm seeing this error. Npvr Ver. 1.5.31
Sometimes i can zap once, most of the times none, resulting in the error.
The logs show a signal quality of 25 ? maybe that is related ?
I have progdvb installed, wich works correct for all channels, when i scan a transponder there i see for 1/4 of a second signal quality 25% after that it jumps to 100%
Logs are attached.

Thanks,
Mike

Certainly a completely different cause for the error than the other issues in this thread... it looks like the first stream died for some reason after about 20 seconds, so it started a new stream, but then NextPVR didn't try to renew the new handle for an entire minute by which time NRecord had already expired the handle. At first I thought when it went from handle 140001 to 140002 it was a channel change, but then I realized both were on the same channel. Way above my pay grade, only sub knows the answer to this one.
