Hi,

I just building up a new system which should also run GBPVR (GBPVR 1.4.7). I have a Hauppauge HVR3300 installed on Win7 64 bit installed. I just realized that this card seems not to be supported. Trying to configure the recording source GBPVR shows me that he detected the HVR1800 MCE which I was trying. However, LiveTV does not show any picture and also the TV Guide does not even open up.

Any ideas whether I could get it work with the HVR3300 and whether my TVGuide problem could be related to that?

Thanks,
Tom

Are you trying to do DVB-T, DVB-S or Analog?

Analog on this device wont be usable in GBPVR due to the lack of hardware MPEG2 encoder.

tmk, I think you need to figure out the settings in the bda.ini file as the hvr-3300 is not yet in there. I had the same problem setting up my HVR-4400 a while back.

See thread http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?...t=hvr-4400

Analog. What you are saying is surprising me since I am under impression that this card has a MPEG2 encoder.

No, it doesnt. It is a soft encoder card.

This isnt relevent to DVB-T/S though, where the broadcast does the encoding.
