Video metadata

Can anyone help me out with the video metadata page on the wiki? Need info sources and editors (websites, programs) and formats supported by the Video Library screen. Link or post here is enough if you don't feel like getting your hands dirty with the wiki

i would just add info about the show.ts:metadata.xml which is attached to file now, as it was in gbpvr..
i think it's the last on list of preference for info source..meaning other sources like .xml file will override it..
and mention folder.jpg is only a fallback if no other info is found, so safe to have folder.jpg and show.jpg, show.jpg will override the folder.jpg if exists..

What XML metadata files does it support do you know?

as far as i know it's just the internally written data in there..i suppose it only supports the fields that are in there already populated by npvr..

i tried adding fields from a different mymovies style .xml file and they aren't seen..
so just the fields that are already inside will work..
