v1.5.33 - Audio micro-glitching

Hi,

Seems to me that the audio micro-glitching is back.
With the previous release it could be eliminated by configuring just one audio decoder.

I'm still configured with the one decoder under v1.5.33 but am now noticing micro-glitching, albeit it only once every 15/30secs or so.

I have tried re-booting, tried configuring a different decoder, different channels etc.

Not sure........more testing required on my part. Maybe my sat feed is having a bad day.

Reproduce the problem and post the npvr.log and I'll take a look.

Not sure, it's possible the glitching has gone.

However, I am now unable to play .mpg vids.

Live Tv is fine, playing recordings is fine.......but mpg's of my own that played fine in last release are now broken. All I get is a black screen with the nPVR title and the time code is stuck at zero.

In WMP the mpg's play fine. I have tried configuring different decoders in nPVR etc. No luck.

Is it possible installing SAF5 has broken something......thats about the only other thing I have done just before upgrading to latest nPVR.......well, that and the big Windows update yesterday also.

Just a note, ripped DVD's / AVI's are fine.

Yep, I'd say thats the case. hoborg is setting it false with his SAF installer because he prefers it that way, but there is a lot more that can go wrong when it is set to false.

It's already set to true, so no luck here.

PS. Micro-glitching is definitely still there, just worse on some channels. Having only 1 decoder setup like last release does not help now.

That setting was to do with your .mpg files not playing - nothing to do with your audio problem.

UPDATE:

You need to reinstall SAF after nPVR update - SAF needs to be installed always as last one.
BTW, i dint test latest SAF on new nPVR v1.5.33 yet...

Yes I understand the glitching is a separate issue.....just trying to keep both issues going....:-)

I did try re-installing SAF5 but the problem still exists.
