Yeah, its the service_type of 0x82 that is causing it not to show up. If you bump the thread next week when I'm back in NZ, I'll give you a patch to make the channels show up.

OK many thanks for the rapid response. Of course they are not 'proper' channels, but handy to have all the same.

Many thanks from me too. And thanks Martin for getting to the bottom of what's going on.

Martin, there's an interesting wishlist feature - video from one channel and audio from another! Can I have ITV picture with Radio5 audio for football?!

damn - just lost my lengthy post for some unknown reason ;( (it was saying post was too short??!!??)

Could I bump this one please sub?

The 7 stream channels are a "red button" service often used for short notice or overflow transmissions, often sport.
I've just heard of one I want in the morning when I won't be here and will try gbpvr with multi-recording to grab all seven channels (fingers crosssed).

Give this one a go. It should make the channels show up.

Many thanks the prompt response... The channels now show up, but they seem to be flagged as HD channels with the scan.
They can be mapped fine, but trying to watch results in a blank screen.
logs attached of initial scan (one transponder only) and trying to play the first channel - stream0.

thanks again

What type of audio/video do they have? I'm assuming they're H.264 (it doesnt matter if they're HD or SD).

They're bound to be mpeg2 like any other BBC SD feed. I'm not at the machine to check, but I'm sure they are not H.264 as I dont think normal SD sky boxes can decode that? I'm assuming audio is mp2.

I thought Freesat is H.264? or is that only the HD channels?
