They yip and call a lot, and tend to run in packs. Around here you can get packs of 10 or so, especially in spring.
While I know it is friendly socialization for them, when you are cross country skiing through a field in the dark and hear them in the same field... it doesn't sound so friendly.

And just now, I got back from walking the dogs to the mailbox. About a mile round trip, 33F (1C), clear skies, Jupiter looking beautiful in the south, the Milky Way overhead.

Your description evokes a unsettling feeling, like something out of a horror film! Hmmmm our hedgehogs don't do that.

Sounds (and in my head looks) fantastic. Milky Way on a clear night is unbeatable. Don't suppose you spotted my missing cat on your travels?

Well, unfortunately, I see no animals outside of my house, only pidgeons. (maybe a sparrow or 2)
Inner city living. I guess drunk people can be like wildlife.

At least I'll get a great view of the fireworks show this evening.

Ahh... finished work. Now at home. "Witching hour" is over too and now i'll test subs latest patch. Should this work, then i will try to make a "hotfixinstaller" for comfortable hotfixes until the next npvr release comes out.
