Channel Scan with KWorld DVB-T388U - System.AccessViolationException

Just trying to get nPVR setup and have got a KWorld USB twin Tuner (DVB-T 399U/UR) which nPVR recognises as such, but when I do the initial Channel Scan it throws the System.AccessViolationException

I have attached the log file with the error

I have checked the aerial and that is getting a signal OK.

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

Forgot to mention I have applied the patches in the Please Read message, and made sure that DirectX 9 is installed.

Another update:
Just tried the USB stick in a different machine, running Win7 and it all worked OK and found loads of channels, so fairly sure the USB stick is OK.

I've seen this type of log message in the past (in the same place shown in your logs) when there is a bad directshow component in the machine, but unfortunately I dont really have any good advice on tracking done the cause and correcting it.

2010-11-17 12:19:21.435 [ERROR][1] Unexpected error in scanning form: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

Did NPVR work on that other machine?

Haven't actually tried that, I will install it and report back...
