THere awere two new button added to the main skin.xml file as well as an element for navigation arrows. There was also a new skin file added for selecting an area. If you open up the skin.xml file for the blue skin you can compare it to the xmedia skin and copy in the enw pieces. You will also need to copy the new skin file for the areas to the xmedia theme.

how often does weather get updated information. It's about 24 hours old right now--I can add new cities and everything functinos well, just wondering how to update the information if it didn't do it "automatically"

I think it is the "Red" Button.

It only auto updates if you check the "display on VA panel" check box. Note that it should be okay to check this even if you do not use the VA panel. if this option is checked, the currently selected location's weather will be updated every 10 minutes. If 10 minutes is not to your liking, you can manually add a parameter called AutoUpdateRate to the WeatherPlugin section in config..xml and set a new rate. The value should be an integer, in minutes (e.g., 10 for 10 minutes).

jeff could you make it read the button ordering from the skin.xml file? i want to place the main menu button as the last button in the list ie

Can it be set to update all of your chosen zip codes?

Also, GREAT Plugin! I really like it. And the fact that I can check the weather anywhere in the world from my MVP in a few seconds is impressive.

Just FYI, I added about 5 pixels to the horizontal position of the "Hi" temp value. The number value sits RIGHT on top of the ":" with the delivered settings.

I moved both the high and low temp values a few pixels to the right to create a little separation for aestethics :-)

I have just posted a new update with the following changes:

* Fixed a bug in the auto update code.

* Auto update now updates all areas, not just the selected area

* Modified the plug-in to enable the buttons to be displayed in any order in the skin file, not just the default layout. The up and down arrows now move to the next highest or lowest button based on the buttons' Y axis positions.

Note: I just uploaded a small change to this update. Auto updating of all areas introduced a bug in what what displayed in the video archiver panel; this has been fixed in the latest version.
