Some sad news. OrakelJos, an active member on the forums, and one of the pre-release testers, died on 29-11-2010 due to complications with cancer.

My condolences go out to his family.

Rest in peace.

I'm very sorry to hear of this loss. While he is surely missed at home, he will also be missed here.
Thanks for letting us know.

This is sad news for anyone who has crossed paths with him, even briefly like I had the did. Jos provided a lot of invaluable help in figuring out some really tough problems with the MVP and NMT and many people benefit from this without even knowing. All the best to his family.

I'm really sorry to hear that. In GB-PVR terms he was an old-timer and I'm a newcomer; I don't think I ever shared a thread with him, but I knew the name. My condolences to his family.

My condolences to the family. May he rest in peace, Jos was a valued contributor to decrypting issues.
