I have a roof top antenna. I need to move it to get the best signal. Is there a tool I can use that will help me get signal strength?

I need help. I get only two channels... and I'm having issues.

the only software way i know of for that card is the tuning wizard in windows media center..
it scans all the channels and shows strength while doing it..
unfortunately it requires setting up WMC to get a look at it..

it seems I recall TSreader Lite shows signal strength, but I've not used it in awhile.

also, if you've not used it already you may find http://www.antennaweb.org useful to determine what channels you ought to be able to receive at your exact location, along with each transmitter's direction and distance. it will also give you an estimate of what sort of antenna you need to pull them in.

If you have a Hauppauge card, they have an app to display signal strength. As I recall, you use whatever app you want to tune the card to a specific channel, exit that app & then use this app to see the signal strength. It is the first item listed on this page: http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/su...r1800.html. I don't remember all the details, but they have a link on that page for more info on using it.
