I'm trying to pick up some HD channels that I have in my subscription

Here is my edited ini.

http://www.lyngsat.com/hd/thor5.html

Im not getting anything from 18, 20 & 22.

I have got 2 HD channels so that side is working.
I'm a tad dyslectic, so maybe my ini file is wrong Smile

Here is the link to the freq's with the HD channels

1=3592
2=Thor 2/3 & Intelsat 10-02

[DVB]

#66,

Now I have a Hauppague (HVR-4400) device but I assume the same applies for all devices. First of all are you trying to get DVB-S2 channels and if so does your card supports S2?

In order to get S2 channels scanned you need to add another parameter to your ini file.

See this thread for details http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?37256

If you are trying to get Canal Digital channels you should be able to use the value 38 which worked for me. See this post (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post389014) for an exampel of my ini file.

Btw, which 2 HD channels are working for you now?

OK, as far as I can see both these channels are HD on DVB-S and NOT DVB-S2. You probably need to look in to DVB-S2 capability and configuration as my links are referring to.

Good luck,

So, your solution I gather was:

add ,38
Apply patch
Increase the scan time

I'll try the 38 thing first and increase the scantime to 15 secs

Don't really want to use and old patch as this might already be in .33 ? Sub?

I'm not sure I follow you guys. Are these DVB-S2 channels? If so, you're not going to get them with your TT-1500.

Thats what I was asking in my first post above. I could not find any specs for the TT-1500.

The Technotrend S1500 is a DVB-S card. It cant do DVB-S2.

Just for the record, DVB-S2 isnt defined in the Microsoft BDA spec, so each manufacturer does things slightly different ways. I've implemented support for Hauppauge's DVB-S2, but not TT (since I dont have a TechnoTrend S2 card), so stick with Hauppauge S2 cards.

Dobble crap!

I have the TT CI module. Apart from the long startup time, its working smoothly.

I have a Happ S2 card someware. Will have to look into the happ ci adapter. If I remember correctly, a lot of problems with this.

Time to think
