Signal Strength Percentage missing

When I replaced .31 with .33, and the signal strength percentage which was shown on settings>status (not on device status from the tray icon though) disappeared. I found it useful. I hoped it might come back with 1.5.36 but it hasn't.

(The change in look from .33 to .36 is good, I can now read text much more easily, thanks.)

It was causing problems on some devices so was removed.

If it could easily be made configurable, that would be useful.
