No democracy really. Sub just wants a name. Of course he can overide his own poll. Is that a welcoming thing? How would the greatest poll ever undertaken for the best home entertainement software ever written be snipped and disavowed? Is that not a bit like Caligula honouring his horse in the senate?

g3pvr has won the poll surely?

'npvr' name workeable but not NextPVR surely? Which is the only domain Sub can get. NPVR.com gone gone nextpvr.com Sub's

A poll is just a poll - and as in most polls, a large percentage of respondents would vote differently a few weeks/months later - google npvr or nextpvr and we are already near the top of the list. If I was a bookmaker, I'd already have closed the book.

Of all the alternate suggestions, NovaPVR is the first one in a LONG time I haven't hated. I think I still like NextPVR, but NovaPVR is pretty good.

Nova PVR domain is not taken from what I can see. As a short it would still be NPVR. But may be better as a domain? novapvr rather than nextpvr which for me always sucked? Anything with 'next' in gets me twitchy Big Grin

Of course that is just me and very personal. Many other users love 'next'.
