Simultaneous recordings are failing

Both scenarios you are describing are failing for me. I do get a picture from both recordings but they are only 10-20 sec long in duration. The recording started before the other is obviously longer.

I guess you are running Win7? I am on XP. I also have some DVB-T and DVB-S channels merged, although the problem also occurs for other channels which are not merged.

Did it work in GBPVR or other software?

Actually, it used to work in NPVR earlier versions. I think as late as 1.5.33 but I can not be 100% sure about it.

i confirmed that I hade parallell recordings on DVB-S and DVB-T working in NPVR 1.5.31.

If you do it in 1.5.36 without merging the channels, does it work? I didnt merge in the test I did earlier.

ok, but how do I unmerge channels? I think I recall from another thread that unmerging was not possible?

You cant unmerge. You'd have to temporarily rename you npvr.db3 and set it up in a clean database.

Started off with an empty database. Scanned the channels (DVB-T and DVB-S) and started 2 parallell recordings. Unfortunately with the same result. Logs attached but I guess they are showing the same.

One more thing, when trying to cancel the recordings NPVR allows me to cancel the first one but cancelling the other causes NPVR to "not respond" and NPVR need to be killed. I can see in the logs that NRecord is trying to cancel the other recording but there is no active stream.
