Sorry, I'm not really sure what to suggest. Its seems to be working fine for me recording both DVB-S and DVB-T at the same time on my 4400.

Sub,
Thanks anyway for looking into this. As a last test I replicated the same scenario in GBPVR and it works just fine. Attaching logs IF you want to take a look. Thanks, \\Agerdin

sub,
I have now continued investigating the problem and started of with a fresh install of NPVR but to no avail However, buy starting a recording on DVB-T and then start to watch a DVB-S channel I was able to provoke a NRecord crash. Screenshot and Dump logs below. Any ideas? Thanks, \\Agerdin

sub, I dont know if you saw my latest post where Nrecord is actually crashing.
Is there anything in the dump info that will lead you to a conclusion of what my problem is? \\Agerdin

Unfortunately no, that dump didnt show anything useful. It looked like it was already mostly terminated before that dump happened, and all the threads were just locked in ntdll.dll, with no sign of any NPVR code in the stack trace of any of the threads.

Ok, well it was worth a shot. Thanks for looking.
Ill guess I will have to wait for next release to see if anything changes. Annoying that it worked in NPVR before and is working in GBPVR though Thanks, \\Agerdin

Are there any upcoming changes in that area for next release?

No, not at this stage. I'm wasnt aware of anything that was broken in there, so there wasnt really anything I was intending to change. Its hard to guess what I'd need to change to fix this.
I'll sleep on it though, and hopefully something will come to me.

sub, have you given this any more thought? I have seen several other threads about recording problems on XP. Could any of these be related to my problem?
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...cord-crash http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ws-at-once I guess my only solution is to get rid of my DVB-T setup and only rely on multidec on DVB-S. \\Agerdin |
