NPVR Skins - just Logos ? ... i.e. No Channel Number or Channel Name ?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, the Plugin and Skins has separate Skin sub-forums but I'm not sure if they apply.

Q1. Way back in GBPVR history there used to be a nice drop in replacement for the default blue skin2 for GBPVR which showed just channel logos in the TV Guide, i.e. No Channel Number or Channel Name, JUST the logo, which I like as it is very simple and takes less real estate.

Now that NPVR skins are appearing, what needs to be changed (or could Skin developers add a similar drop-in file or some instructions to change the code?)

Q2. Some Skins require Font downloads. Do I right-click-install these into Windows or drop them in the Skin/Fonts directory for the skin?

Yes, you can remove the channel numbers by editing the TV guide skin xml. I'll see was I can do and post something for you this weekend.

You install the fonts into Windows. The fonts directory under nextBlue is just an extra copy.

Another quick Q (maybe for sub), how do I change the order of the menu list, you used to be able to drag and drop this in GBPVR Config - NPVR doesn't seem to do this?

I hadn't tried this in NPVR until I saw this post! It is easy to change in config.xml, just edit the order in <MenuLayout> but it was rather neat having the drag and drop capability. Maybe a request?

Or alternatively, I would really start encouraging users to look at the wiki, that is what it is there for, if something isn't there yet then it can be asked for

Well it really doesn't seem so obvious now.
I see where I missed it before.
The channel logos should be under Channels/Other Configurations.
The Configurations seems to be a Title on the left menu when opened and the lower page hidden on what appears to be a duplicate links page to the left menu.

Sorry, thanks for reminding me. Attached is the edited xml for a TV Guide without channel numbers. Unzip the xml file and overwrite the original guide.xml in the nextblue TV Guide subdirectory.
