Request - Find More would search recordings, too

I think it would be great if I do a Find More that it would include shows I have already recorded. That way if I recorded some movie a long time ago & forgot about it, if I see it in the listings & do a Find More, I will see that I have already recorded it. It would also be handy for episodes of TV shows.

Also, is there any way to move through the recordings a page at a time or to jump to a letter in the alphabet? I thought I could do that with TV Recordings in GBPVR, but don't seem to be able to figure out how to do it in NPVR.

that sounds like a good suggestion, I'm going to add this for the next release.

the recording lists can be scrolled one page at a time with the PageUp / PageDown keys - but I've forgot to include the jump to the first letter of the items - I'll add the logic for the next release, too.

I mostly use a remote. Will the jump to the first letter work with the remote number pad like a phone key pad? On my 34 key Hauppauge remote, I don't have PageUp/PageDown. On GBPVR, the Replay/Skip and the Blue/Green buttons scrolled a page. Any way you could have the Replay/Skip or Blue/Green buttons jump a page?

there's no logic to translate the number keys to letters, so it'll work only with the keyboard. For the page up / page down keys, I've added the mentioned alternatives for the next release.

So, now I have another request that is probably a whole lot of work. Is there any way you could have the sort by name ignore leading articles like "the" and "a". That way "The Closer" would be in the C's and "The Good Guys" would be in the G's instead of both being in the T's. Maybe have it configurable if not everybody wants it that way.

Have you thought of using the number keys to move to %# (ie. 1=10% 5=50% 9=90% 0=0% or back to the top) up & down the list the same as sub does for music & videos (and has said he will do for the built in recordings) & Martin uses for the webradio plugin? This would help to keep it consistent with the rest of NextPVR.

I've implemented the percentual jumps in v3.3.0 of the plugin.
