There was a change recently and for PAL/NTSC the default is 800x600 some samples are here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...2011-02-28 I forgot about updating NMTInstall for this.

However it doesn't sound like that is your problem, maybe open a new thread with the output from the NMT Syntax check and I will have a look.

NMTInstall2 has been updated to handle the new default of 800x600 for PAL/NTSC users. Old version will no longer run.

Martin,
In the past I had successfully used NMTInstall2 as the tool to upgrade nPVR from 1.5.36 to 2.0.3 --- as nPVR 2.1.4 was just released, I wanted to check whether NMTInstall2 is the appropriate tool for doing an upgrade from 2.0.3 to 2.1.14 ?
Thanks for your thoughts on the matter.

Martin,
Thanks for continued the great support.
Your NMTInstall2 has made such a huge difference. Sincerely, I wonder why it isn't the default nPVR install/update tool.
Is there something it doesn't do?

Cheers,
TomH

Hello again Martin...

Tried using your NMTInstall2 (downloaded 10 mins ago) to install NPVR v.2.2.6 but found it attempting to install NextPVR v.2.1.5
Do you plan to upgrade it to install the newest 2.2.6 ?

Thanks,
TomH

Ok, sorry when 2.2.6 was released I didn't immediately recommend it so I forgot about it. With patches it is quite good now, it's just hard to keep track of them all. It should be good to go now.

Hi Martin
I have two pc's both with tv card's
win7 with hauppauge
win xp with divico
I have finally got my old pc with the divico card to work with NPVR so i thought I would have two icons on my popcorn for the tv. One for the new and one for the old.
The new one works no problem but the old one is another thing. I tried to use nmtinstall but I keep getting an error after the NMTInstall.xml is downloaded.
I have even tried the old manual way, and the screen flashes a couple of times but then falls out. I can't find any logs for when the screen is flashing.
Any ideas
thanks
Dave

There is no automatic install for running two servers but the process is picked up on the wiki http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...t.NMT#toc6

Also NMTInstall doesn't work anymore, you need NMTInstall2
