I am trying to move a working HVR-1700 from one PC to another. Windows 7 plus all the update have been installed plus NPVR, the two prereqs and updates of 21/03/2011. After a successful configuration I can't get an analogue output, I just get a white screen. This card and setup work fine on the old PC.

Using WinTV 7 (Ver 2.2B) I get an analogue picture ok.

The nrecord.log shows a line after the graph filter list which says "Tuner reports frequency:0" but the rest of the log looks similar to the one from when the card was on the old PC.

I have attached the logs, which also include a filtercheck.log.

Any ideas please?

You're telling it to switch the tuner to channel 401. There is no such channel on an analog tuner. They typically only have up to channel 125, so you must have misconfigered it.

You've either got the channel numbers set wrong, or you're trying to use a set top box, in which case you need to have chosen the svideo/composite inputs when setting up your channels (or the fixed tuner option if all your channels on CH3 or similar).

Thanks, that is the problem. I have got one channel working now. I will have to figure out how to do the rest.
