No since the bandwidth on cable and OTA are physically different and as this is stated as experimental I would expect it is DVB-T2 only.

Sorry, I have to wait a year before they get round to adding HD to our transmitter I think.
At least T2 cards may become more available and cheaper by then Wink

I can see they're doing something on Crystal Palace - a channel specifically named BBC HD is listed in the NIT and the results from TSReader suggest it is DVB-T2 (i.e., it can't handle it with my DVB-T card). Unfortunately I don't have a T2 card so can't play with it sorry.

Just got home & did a couple of tests - BBC1 HD is interlaced - BBC HD (a drama) is progressive.

Media Info info attached
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

Thanks Alex, that gives me a start there is some really high bit rates in there, now I have to do more research of MBAFF

If anyone else tries this, how does the blue door about 1:10 into the video look to you?

Looks fine here, occational bursts of noise but clear picture and good colors.

Reddwarf so you see a solid blue door? I see lots of noise in it on every PC and extender I try.
