Channel Order

Hi,

Is it possible to change channel order? It was with GBPVR. Order is determined during scan and that's it!? I don't want to do manual scan channel per channel. Moreover, that would not help completely since more digital channels are on one frequency.
I searched forum but I could not find anything about this.

To make it more clear, I mean on this situation: channel scan found some channels in order like this:
1. H1
2. R
3. H2
4. N

I want order like this in TV Guide and Live TV:
1. H1
2. H2
3. R
4. N

Of course, in real situation there are more channels, thus greater need for manual sort.

In Settings->Channels

Double-click the first column, and change the numbers to the order you desire.

Though you have change all numbers if you insert channel from the bottom somewhere close to the top. For instance, you want to move channel from position 15 to 3 and leave order of other channels as it is - you need to change channel numbers to all channel from 3 to 15. Not quite convenient, especially having in mind it was easier with GBPVR.
I agree that is nothing crucial. But then again,there are several such a relatively minor things that made me still using GBPVR instead of NPVR.

I agree that it would be more convinient to have the rest of the channels auto-renumber, but it is possible to have sevral channels with number 3. Maybe a bit confusing.

I noticed that. But which one would be really third? "Old" number 3, first of "all number 3" by alphabet, random one? Whatever is the case, you don't control the order absolutely that way.

Absolutly. And it would also be a problem for channel independent handling in Comskip.
