Hey all,

probably something stupid i've done but my NPVR has been working flawlessly until last week when all the recordings are going to zero size. I've tried installing the new version reset etc and I look in the nrecord log and can't find anything obvious. What have I done? Smile

Note I uploaded nrecord sep as it wasn't allowing me to add to the zip

Thanks in advance!

It looks like there is no signal. I'd check your antenna connections. Other than that, there is no sign of anything failing.

found out they switched sandy heath over to digital (I guess I was using analogue on my digital receiver) so reconfigure time!

think I still need help - so went through my history of recordings and they seem to match up perfectly (in fail terms) with the switch over on the transmitter. I read online to update my wintv and select all regions in wintv7 - updated to 7 and found and the channels missing (BBC, Channel 4 etc) are now working within wintv.

Any idea now I can update the sandy heath info or use wintv to allign them to whats in wintv? pretty certain this is the issue

I had this problem last week when we started the first stage of the switch over as I forgot to retune the NPVR system when I did the TV. The simple solution is to delete all channels then do an "All Regions" search of the entire band for channels broadcasting a DVB-T signal, which is what most TVs and boxes do.

The other solution is to edit the apropriate ini file found under Tuning\DVB-T in your "NPVR data directory". Once you have found the file which relates to your local transmitter you need to replace the six frequencies listed with the new list. We are in the middle of the switch so only the BBC frequency had to be changed but next week is the big swich so the others will need to be changed also. If you dont edit the ini file you will have to always use the "All Regions" search until the master ini files are updated with the new frequencies in a later version.

And if you do edit the ini, then please post it back here once you've confirmed it's working so that sub can include it in future releases.

The next release will have an entirely new set of UK tuning files.
