Channel changer not sticking

I have the same problem others have reported with the channel changer settings not sticking with my hdpvr.

I have 2.03 installed with the updates from the sticky thread and tried the patch in this thread, http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...el+changer and still have the problem.

This is the last piece I need to get things going.

Do you mean:

a) when you change the settings in the HDPVR settings screen, then ok out of it, then go back in, the new settings were not saved and you see the old values

or

b) the settings are saved correcting in the HDPVR setting screen, but when it goes to change channels it still uses the old blaster settings, not the new ones.

Either way, reproduce the problem, then post the npvr.log/nrecord.log and I'll take a look.

It's the first scenario, change settings, click ok, go back in, new settings not saved (there were no old settings, so values are blank)

I just checked it here and it's saving it fine for me. Can you zip and attach your npvr.db3 file? I'll try it with your database to see if I can reproduce the problem.

You database was missing a database update from the last release. This DB should fix it.

I've also added a logging message for the next release which will log this type of error to make it clearer that there was a problem, and the exact cause.

Sub,

Replaced the npvr.db3 file and still have the same issue. I can open the HDPVR settings but whether I update to use the HDPVR IR Blaster or the Haupblast.exe from my old gbpvr directory, the settings don't update and when I return to the settings page, the channel changer still set to NONE. I also tried changing the Input source for the HD PVR and that change doesn't stick either.

P.S. If you have a DB with the example showing what should be set, I can open up the db3 file and add the record manually.

Can you open the db3 file and check your HDPVR_RECORDER table has a 'crossbar_filter' column?

There is a crossbar_filter field varchar(50)

Hmm, can you temporarily rename your npvr.db3 to something else, then restart the app, and try setting it up again to see if it works correctly. It'll create a copy from empty.db3, which should have this column by default.

I think because of the previously missing column, your HDPVR_RECORDER table is missing a row of data.
