There is nothing fundamentally wrong with a resume entry that points to the last second of the video IMHO. It is kind of logical. That resume should "reset" is not logical. If there was another flag indicating "watched" then this would be a non issue though.

You can still call PlaybackPositionHelper.GetPlaybackPosition() to check if a file has been played. All the patch did was not show the resume prompt if the playback position was very near the length of the file.
