Just migrated my setup to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit & 2.0.3

Everything appears to be ok, but I need to add one channel manually which doesn't get picked up on the device scan. I had to do the same thing with GBPVR on my old setup.

So how do I add a channel manually using the channel frequency?

(& how do I donate? - I tried & received this error from Paypal: This recipient is currently unable to receive money. Feel free to PM me about this - I'd like to send some $ to help support the dev. efforts)

Thanks!

Like GBPVR, there is no supported mechanism for manually adding digital channels. It requires all sorts of info that users dont usually dont know (like SID, TSID etc, sometimes symbol rates, FEC rates etc)

If you have a particular channel that isnt showing up, post a npvr.log from after a scan, along with info about the channel, and I'll try to find why it didnt show up in the scan.

The donations link should be back up and running in a few days. I'm in the process of moving to a new payment service. Paypal was fine for a long time, but they've screwed me over twice in the last year.

NPVR.log attached.
The missing channel is the community telly station: TVS transmit Digital on a frequency of 536.625MHz

I can't remember what I did to make it work on my old setup, but I remember editing some files to whack it in a list somewhere...

K - I'll keep a look out for a note saying it's back up.

536.625MHz isnt a frequency that was scanned. Have you tried an 'Australia/AllFrequencies' scan rather that your specific region? The region specific frequencies might not reflect the reality in your region.

Sub,

I was wondering if you could help with a similar problem. I've done an All Frequencies scan. I can't get channel 34 (33.1) in okc. I don't know what info you need but hopefully this helps http://www.fccinfo.com/CMDProEngine.php?...er=1124620

Here's my logs after a scan

Thanks

you might try installing the cumulative patch update I posted today (thread linked in signature), and scan again. there was a channel scanning bug fixed a few days ago; your problem doesn't look like the same issue, but it might have the same root cause.

edit: also, you should really should just start a new thread in the future. your problem is completely unrelated to the the problem discussed above.
