I'm not sure if this is a developer question or a wishlist one, but I'll put it here anyway.
NPVR currently has the HORIZONTAL_ICON view for a list - which is really nice btw. Much prettier than its counterpart in GBPVR, and looks great when you've got a screen view of movie posters or something.
It scrolls offscreen from left-to-right though, perhaps in keeping with the "horizontal" thing that NPVR has going on in its main menu and so on. I'd also like to see a version of it where it could be made to scroll offscreen from top-to-bottom. I don't know if it should be a new type of list view (eg VERTICAL_ICON), or whether you could just throw in a single config.xml entry that would allow the user to specify horizontal or vertical for when a list is in this mode.
The first picture shows the current view, and the order it fills its elements with. The second picture shows how a vertical version of it should work.
