The next beta update to Music Box4 is now available on the wiki. http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?....MusicBox4 It requires version 2.1.4 of NPVR and uses sub added to improve MB4.
New features
- Search and save Album Art (folder.jpg) from musicbrainz.org,
discorg.com and last.fm from the track dialog (on track)
- Pause icon on Jukebox views
- Other plugins can start MB4 in Random mode
- Play can now be used to add to Playlists while music is playing.
- If found, the Jukebox views will display the ID3 track artist
instead of the album artist
ML3 Additions
- Added ability to use File System Watchers to drastically reduce the
need for scanning. Does require some PC resources but it was something I used
- Do database updates scan from Options popup.
- Show correct running time on NMT
Changes
- fixed database import from ML3
- update scan is not just on date but will also update if file not in database
- misc bug fixes (probably a few added).
Note that this will be the last release that will try to stick to the ML3 database format. I encourage all ML2/ML3 users to upgrade now.
Finally thanks again to ACTCMS and Jaggy for their valuable comments and feedback. I encourage everyone to upload their feedback too, I may not always agree but I will always listen.
