Memory leak when updating recordings on all channels

I am exiting NextPVR, stopping the recording service, replacing the files in C:/Program Files/NPVR/ with the ones from the zip, restarting the recording service, then starting NextPVR. Is that what I should be doing?

Yeah, that should be all you need to do, but your logs arent showing log messages that absolutely should be there.

Try this new version. The npvr.log should start with:

2011-07-08 16:29:44.595 [DEBUG][1] I'm definitely running the new version
2011-07-08 16:29:44.659 [DEBUG][1] Version: 2.1.3

Also, confirm you're going to the Recordings screen, then to the Recurring list, pressing enter on a show, popup appears, selecting the 'update' button...etc... or are you doing something else?

You also need to kill NTray.

I get "I'm definitely running the new version" and "Version: 2.1.4" not 2.1.3.

NTray is killed when I run "Stop NPVR Service".

Hmm. This just makes no sense. You're missing log messages that should absolutely be there.

Do you see animations on the main menu?

Are you doing your testing over remote desktop?

Are there any config variables which are preventing the extra debug messages, e.g. extended logging is false?
