Remembering position in recordings list

I'm sure I remember this being mentioned in the release notes a few versions ago that an enhancement was added so that if you deleted the last remaining instance of a recording the screen would return to the same position on the list rather than being thrown back to the start of the list, but it isn't doing this for me on the last couple of versions. Is there maybe a setting for this in config?

yeah, this is maddening at times. I wouldn't mind seeing this fixed. I seem to remember discussion about this being fixed before too; maybe it was back in the GB-PVR days.

What recording list was this? I just tried it here, went to Recordings -> Ready, selected 'Life On Mars' which had 6 episodes. Moved to last recording in the list, pressed Enter to see details, selected 'Delete' and the selection was moved to the previous item (now the last in the last).

Is this what you were doing, or something slightly different?

I'm normally going to Recordings -> What's New, but I'm pretty sure that Recordings -> Ready works the same way. In your scenario, you would need to delete all 6 episodes (which would then remove the 'Life On Mars' entry from the main recordings list). After the main entry on the recordings list gets removed, the recordings list goes back to the very first entry instead of the one immediately adjacent to the one which was just deleted.

My initial testing shows it works now. Does this fix also include the fix for the watched indicator? I'm testing that now.
