NextPVR crashes when using Colossus.

I'm was able to play ATSC fine, but Colossus always crashes with playing live TV (And I also get no sound, but when playing a recording in WMP it plays fine).

Here is my log.

If you create a c:\temp directory, does a *.mdmp file get created in that directory when the crash happens?

The missing audio is probably due to not having an AAC decoder selected.

No *.mdmp when I created a c:\temp directory and Still no audio.

Edit: Got the audio working..Need to disable AC3 audio.

Edit: Or pick a different audio codec Ac3filter didn't work with AAC audio on.

I'm not really sure on the crash.

For the missing audio, reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look. What decoder did you try?

I tried a different decoder. AC3filter didn't work when ArcSoft audio was on So I just switched the AC3 audio to hauppauge audio AC3.

Now I just need to fix the Crashes.

What Video codecs are pole using here?

I'm using HDMI audio and Video.. What that be the problem?

Not that it helps you any, but I'm having the exact same problem. LiveTV always crashes. If I can pause it before it crashes, once I unpause it is ok. I have scheduled a recording of a half hour program and it plays back fine in it's entirety. I've got a Colossus and I'm playing back HDMI through a Radeon HD4250 which is part of the motherboard. What type of video card do you have?

I'm using a NVIDIA GeForce GT 430.

Are you both using HDMI?

Does the problem vary depending on the resolution of the source channel? ie 480i/720p/1080i

No, Not for me. The program still crashes no matter the resolution.

I just tried channels at 480, 720, and 1080i and they all crashed.
