Yes, dongle.bin is the only file required. I dont know why it would load for you. Try finding a different one that does work. There is nothing special about the one included with GB-PVR.

Hi Sub,
I've been quiet the last few weeks. Just installed the latest release (0.92.11) and am VERY happy with it. This new release show a lot more. Combined with the XMEDIA skin makes it a very crisp tool.

BUT, it seems that the feature that bottom left on any screen exits the screen has disappeared? If so, could you find a way to put it back in the next release. In combination with my touch screen it was the always working escape!

Thanks in advance
Greetz,

Very strange. It doesn't work for me. And no, its not my touchscreen that's defective: I can reach the windooz startbutton...

Do you have any clues what could be possibly wrong?

 That's even stranger. I used it on most menus! Any chance of putting it (back :o ) in all menus?

Installed the patch but now when I scan for channels the config app seems to go into an infinate loop once it has finished scanning.

Updated my EPG (XMLTX) went to Map channels, tried a rescan and after it had finished scanning where it would normally bring up the list to map the channels the the EPG list, it hangs.

left it running for a few minutes but it just starts comsuming 99% system utilisation and sits there

kept my feet warm for a few minutes while I left it running.

Any ideas, going to try and uninstall and re-install and patch clean to see if that clears it else it's back to the old ver me thinks.

sub Wrote:I did fix a log message that is written every two seconds. It wasnt anything directly related to hibernation, but it may be stopping your machine going into hibernation through the fact it was writing to the disks regularly. As I mentioned earlier, the work around is to change the logging level to 'Info'.

Alternatively you could also kill GBPVRTray.exe, which will also stop this message being generated.

I changed the logging level to "Error" but my computer still refuses to hibernate. I'll try "Info"...

I haven't tried hibernating, but the large logs were irritating me, so my trick was to increase the TrayUpdateInterval in the config.xml file :-)
