Does such a setting exist for GBPVR?

I'm suddenly getting audio description mpeg on Channel 4 HD, rather than the DD track. I dunno if this is something that's just changed, or whether I've never noticed before.

No, I dont think there was an equivalent in GBPVR.

The broadcaster has probably reordered the audio streams in the channels desciption table. It sounds like the old GBPVR ts reader isnt making the right choice when selecting which audio stream to use.

Ok, not to worry then. I don't suppose there's any way I could tweak the database tuning info so it loses all knowledge of the alternative stream?

And I guess if the worst happens, there's always that new-fangled npvr thing that all the cool kids keep harping on about Big Grin

Is this playback of .ts record, or live preview live tv?

Looks like the problem is only with Live. If I record it, or pause/playback Live TV it's picking the correct stream. NPVR is too, even without the PreferAC3 setting.

Channel 4 are obviously pissing around with it. The AC3 stream is changing from 2.0 to 5.1 even while I'm watching (the recording).

Assuming you're using live preview mode for live tv, then always uses the streams you choose when the channels were mapped. This is probably case of having selected the wrong channel when mapping, or the they've swapped the PIDs used by the various audio streams - either way you'd need to rescan and remap the channel to fix the tuning information used by live tv.

Yep, a rescan and remapping seems to have solved it for Live TV too. Thanks.
