What would cause comskip NOT to finish?

Mr Bean's Holiday is not followed by a "comskip finished with..." dialogue.
Any hints what to look for? Would sleeping cause this? If, why doesn't comskip keep the PC awake?

the only thing I can think of is if the system crashed or was rebooted while comskip was running. sleeping wouldn't do it, as the same processes would still be running when the pc wakes.

comskip creates a log of each run, stored with the recording. it'd be called "Mr.Beans Holiday_20110807_21302325.ts.log". perhaps there will be some clues there.

Thanks johnsonx42, I loooked for thw log, but I think I have comskip set up not to produce one.
It produces .edl, .log.txt and .txt files only.
